Episode #42- "The Return of Coastin' East"
This week is the return of Coastin’ East to iTunes after an unintentional three month hiatus.
On this week’s show, Coast, Matt, Jason and guest co-host Josh Davidson from Gadv.com (Great Adventure Online) disuss how their summers at the parks went, the addition of both Intimidator coasters to Carowinds and Kings Dominion, and the retirement of the Big Bad Wolf.
Also, we have some on board audio from Freestyle Music Park. Take a ride on the Monstars of Rock dark ride, Round-a-bout, and the Time Machine. Special thanks to Freestyle Music Park and Marketing manager Michelle Cantey for making Jason (Coastin’ East representative) welcome at the park!
Make sure you check out Gadv.com for information about the Unofficial Great Adventure Online Day 2009 at Six Flags Great Adventure on October 3rd!

Episode #41- "Coastin' East 60 Minutes"
This week, Coastin’ East hits over an hour for the first time in its existence! In our first segment, Brian Mitchell of the Coaster Crew (www.coastercrew.com) talks to us about his trip to both Kings Dominion’s first enthusiast event, Hurlfest and Busch Garden’s Europe’s new tour, Behind the Screams. Then, Leanne from Virginia calls in to talk about Busch Gardens Europe as well.
After the commercial, Coastin’ East plays a song, “All I Need”, that is written, sung, and produced by TL Brown. TL is a friend of ours that is a co-host on one of our affiliate podcasts, In the Loop, and is an up and coming artist. Check him out at www.myspace.com/tlbrownmusic2 or facebook.com/tlbrownmusic2.
In the second segment, Matt and Ryan have a trip report from their trip to Hersheypark in the historic chocolate town, Hershey, Pennsylvania. Coast, Matt and Ryan then debate on which CE home park is better overall: Hersheypark or Six Flags Great Adventure?

Episode #38- "Celebrating One Year On the Air"
On April 10, 2008 the mics were plugged in, the recorder was ready to go, and the cast was hyped to start up a new podcast. One year later to the day, the cast finds themselves at Six Flags Great Adventure celebrating one year on the air. It has been the best of times, but there were also the worst of times. However, our partners helped dig us out of the hole, new connections were made, and you listeners kept on listening. And for this, we thank all of you. YOU fans have been what drives the podcast each week! If you would have told us when we started we’d have the number of listeners (more than two for every foot of Millenium Force) we would have told you you’re crazy. When things got tough, we thought of the fans and worked hard to make the show the best thing we could. You guys are awesome! So, it’s time to sit down, strap in, and join in on the celebration! We have a trip report, listener call ins, and a special surprise!
Were sorry the show wasn’t posted right away. We’ve been having on going issues with PodOmatic and iTunes, but keep your eyes out for a new and improved feed
Thank you for listening, and here’s hope to another great year and many more to come!
Your Friends,
Coast, Matt and Ryan
